November 6, 2008 - Family Health Network Marathon Clinic

Family Health Network acknowledges the debate that has taken place in the Marathon community and in the local press concerning recent personnel changes at Family Health Network's Marathon clinic.

It is the policy of Family Health Network to maintain strict confidentiality concerning personnel decisions involving individual employees of Family Health Network and its various clinics. Patient records are also entitled to the highest degree of confidentiality. Accordingly, Family Health Network cannot comment, and will not comment, on any particular personnel change at the Marathon site.

Family Health Network wishes to assure each of our patients and the community at large that all personnel decisions are made only after a thorough review of the factual circumstances involved. Family Health Network is governed by an array of state and federal laws and regulations as they pertain to our licensed providers, maintenance and privacy of patient records and overall operation of our clinics. Family Health Network wishes to reassure the community that all decisions concerning personnel employed at our various clinic sites are made with two primary goals. First, is the goal of providing complete, competent and timely medical care for our patients. Second, is full compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the activities of Family Health Network.

Comments from our patients and the public at large may be addressed to the Board of Directors and Management of Family Health Network. All comments received will be fully reviewed by the Board and by management of Family Health Network. However, because of the privacy issues involved no specific comment can be made by the Board or Family Health Network Management on any particular personnel decision. Family Health Network will continue to provide the Marathon community with the high level of medical care our patients have enjoyed in the past.
